[16 March , 10:09PM] So for the past few days, I've been really bitter about colleges and rejections and acceptances.. basically college in general. I was seriously gonna shoot anyone who talked to me about colleges. I didn't get into Davis or San Diego, and I thought it was really unfair that certain people got in. I know it wasn't right for me to think that but I was extremely bitter. Honestly, UC decisions are wack and I swear, no one in the world understands how they determine admissions, but I am so proud of every single person who applied, whether they got in or not. There are some people who worked so so so hard for acceptance, and there are those who.. tried a little less, but I think there's a reason for how things worked out the way they did. I think for some people, this is their lucky break, and it's like.. their chance to really prove to everyone that they can do it. I know I don't deserve getting into the college I wanted to go to but it still sucks getting rejected. But for myself, and for everyone else - don't give up and keep working hard because one day everything will be danddyyy. There's a reason for things happening the way they do and even though we can't see it now, I guess we'll all realize it a little later down the road, yea? :) Sorry if this turned out more harsh and bitter than I meant for it to be. I was just sitting around and suddenly all the bitterness I felt went away, and I am genuinely happy for every single person who got in. <3 5 yarly orly

[09 March , 08:09PM] So a week and a day ago was the Camaraderie Benefit Concert. I'm amazed at how well it went and I'm so proud of everyone who performed. I planned on writing a huge entry on it but I'm too out of it to write something right now. It's a little late but thanks to everyone who helped out and came to watch the show, I hope y'all enjoyed it! 2 yarly orly

San Diego! [12 February , 12:49AM] :) I want to write this so I wont forget it later on since I have horrible memory! So Saturday morning my daddy wakes me up super early and we head to SFO. Arrive there and I check in all by myself! It was exciting. Not really. I was really hungry waiting at the gate but I was too lazy to carry my luggage around. Boarded the plane (flight 501!) and fell asleep on the plane. I was sad because I woke up when they were serving drinks and I thought they would have pretzels or nuts or something but I guess they passed that out while I was sleeping. I sat next to this asian guy with eyeliner and this fake-looking white girl.. her skin looked burnt and orange! And she wore like 10 lbs of makeup. But anyway, I landed and Tammy comes pick me up. The weather is amazing!!! 79 degrees :).  I meet Lucas, who drove Tammy. Get to La Jolla and meet one of Tammy's roomies, Grace. Go to Oceanview Terrace to eat lunch with Tammy and Lucas, I got pasta and garlic bread. Then head back to the dorms and play guitar hero then I meet Kevin, Parth, and Jon. Then I met Brian, who takes me, Tammy, Kevin and Jon to La Jolla beach. Oh and I met Tamara somewhere in between playing guitar hero and going to the beach. Play football at the beach and then run into the ocean! It was freezing but it felt good! Come out and we build a sand castle. Then we have this competition to see whose feet can go deeper into the sand. Finally head back and we clean up. After we showered, I met Omar who was at an internship all day. Omar takes me, Tammy, Kevin, Parth and Jon to go eat at this korean place.. Min Chok Son? Something like that. The rice was so hard it wasn't fully cooked :(. The food was good though.. me and Tammy ordered bulgogi bimbibap? But the other kind in the stone pot.. AND IT WAS SO GOOD!!!! Then we go to Yogurt World, which is the most amazing place in the world. Then we go to.. Adult Emporium. HAHA. I waited outside for them. Thennnnn we went home and then we saw Lucas in the parking lot and we all jump in the back of his pick up truck and he blasts his music and drove around really fast. Get off and go back into the  dorms.  Smoked a little hookah :O I'm legal! Haha. Then the boys brought their mattresses over to the girls' common room and we all have a sleepover! We watched Garden State but me and Tammy both fell asleep :( Oops. I woke up after the movie ends and I suddenly became super awake. Fell back asleep at like 2ish and wake up at 1030 to go SURFING! So me and Tammy get ready to go surfing, grab drinks at OVT and run to Sixth College. Then I met Michelle, who went to Irvington before! Go onto the bus but since I didn't have an ID card I had to pay $2! :( Tammy goes to pay for me and the old bus driver was really cool. He kept asking why I didn't have an ID and whether I was gonna come to SD. I think he just wanted to let me in for free! :) But Tammy just pays the money and when we're leaving.. he gives me a day pass! How exciting. Even though we missed the first bus we still make it on time and we head over to the Surf Club area to get our wet suits. Met Alex? Who's in charge of everything I think. He got a fat cut on his nose from his surfboard it was scary. So we get changed and wait for our instructor Evan. Head out into the water and learn to paddle and what not! :( I caught a bunch of waves but I just couldnt stand up all the way! It was sad. Our lesson was only supposed to be an hour but we stayed out for 2! It was freeeeezing. Head back out and Alex made us burgers it was good! The 3 of us then walk back to the bus and wait for the bus. There are so many nice houses  and cars there! So we head back and I remember that I have to take photos for my photography class so me and Tammy walk all the way back to her dorm and I grab my camera then we leave again to Blacks beach. The walk there was super long and the climb down was scary and long! So we head down and I'm happily taking my pictures and then I finish my roll so we're just walking along the beach. And suddenly this naked man (Blacks is a partially nude beach :( ) walks towards us and we both look away. But then!! He stops in front of us and hes like did you just take a picture of me stripping? IT WAS SO AWKARRD!! He didn't try to hide his privates or anything! Ahhhh. Anyway we keep walking and then we eventually climb back up. The climb up was soooo tiring! It was harder than Mission Peak! Haha maybe I'm exaggerating a little. Climb back up and we finally reach our dorms and I take the best shower of my life. Finish getting ready and we go eat with Kevin at OVT again. This time I got a sandwich and onion rings. Hehe. Finish eating and we head back to the dorms and I think we watch TV. Then Omar comes back from his internship and we all watch TV. OH Yeah I also met Jessica when I came back from surfing. So we decide to play Kings, which is like a dare game. So me, Tammy, Jessica, Parth, Jon, Omar, Kevin and Tamara all play and it was reallllyyy funny! Like one guy had to lick peanut butter off another guys ear. Haha! And I had to kiss a girl! But there was seran (?) wrap inbetween HAHA. Then Tammy's other roomie Renata comes home and she joins in our game. Oh yeah I also met Keerat in the morning. It was funny I was in the bathroom and she walks in, looks at me all confused and shes like Wait you dont live here... Hahaa! I also met Evelyn, another girl from Tammy's suite. But anyway we play King's for hella days.. like 2 hours and then we have a mini dance party in the dark. Haha! Oh yeah their res hall is playing ASSASSIN! The game Chris Ji started last year? But they play it intensely. They each get a picture of their person AND their schedule!! Hahahaa. So anyway Jessica and Tamara leave and me, Omar, Renata and Kevin go to OVT to buy food right before they closed (at 1AM). Then we head back and watch Lucky Number Slevin. It was Renata, Tammy me and Omar on the beds and Kevin on the couch. I think everyone falls asleep so we stop the movie and sleep. Kevin and Renata eventually leaves for their rooms and then Tammy is knocked out! So me and Omar bonded and he told me about the people in the suites. So we sleep at like 4 and then I wake up and everyone leaves for DOC. :( So I decide to get ready and pack but while I'm in the bathroom Tammy's roomie goes into their room and then leaves and locks the door! So I couldn't change OR pack. So I watch TV til everyone gets back then I rush because Omar had to take us but had to be back by 1 (their class ended at 12). So I pack everything and we run out. :( I leave my phone charger in Tammy's dorm (but Cleo's amazing and letting me borrow his phone charger!!) So Omar drives super fast and gets to the airport in 10 minutes! hahaha it was amazing. I say my goodbyes to Tammy Omar and Renata and leave to go check in. Oh yeah and I met Jamie.. who they also went to pick up. Oh yeah and I had the most disgusting breakfast int he world.. salt & vinegar chips, an oatmeal cookie (that Tamara cooked!), Sobe, and BBQ lays. Haha! I check-in and then wait at the gate for hella days. They asked if I wanted to give up my seat and receive a free ticket and I really wanted to stay an extra week and come home on Friday with Tammy but my parents said NO! :(. So I wait for the plane and I'm hungry so I'm determined to staya wake for my pretzels. I get on the plane and the most adorable little boy sits in front of me. I ended up falling asleep for the ENTIRE flight and not only missed my pretzels but also my drink! :(. I think I fell asleep before we took off and woke up to the plane almost landing. Get off the plane and my phone runs out of batteries so I cant find my parents! I eventually find them and then I go home. This is the most detailed LJ post I've ever posted... WOW! :( I really wanna go back to visit but my dad says I can't. How sad. OKAY I'm done now I have to start my QUEST paper hehe. Oh and sorry my grammars all over the place.. I kinda just wrote while I thought back so I don't think anything will really make sense :P 1 yarly orly

[29 January , 05:55PM] Today I met/talked to the rudest person ever. I had to call J.W. Pepper, a music store, to see if they'd be interested in sponsoring the Camararderie Concert. I called earlier that day but the manager wasn't in so I called again after school while walking to my car. When she says she needs to give me a number I say "hold on" so that I can grab a pen out of my bag, and she's suddenly like "don't give me that nippy (?) attitude." And I swear I was so confused 'cause I thought she was talking to someone else. She starts asking me some other questions like what school I go to and what not and then she's like "If you're going to call asking for help, don't give such bad attitude, and don't have people yelling in the back." And I was just like uh sorry I'm still at school.. AND SHE HANGS UP ON ME!! I wasn't even being rude at all :(. I really want to call back just so I can yell at her. But when I called back someone else picked up, haha. 6 yarly orly

[19 January , 01:41PM] So yesterday I brought up the idea of me going to San Diego to visit Tammy during the 3-day weekend in February.. and my dad was actually really cool about it. I thought my dad would be like NO WAY YOU CANT GO BY YOURSELF! But he had no problem with it at all! AND this morning he tells me that he found a cheaper ticket than the one I found and that he was gonna book it for me. How amazing :) 1 yarly orly

[16 January , 07:08PM] So I spent the past 1+ hour driving around frantically trying to find my way home. I drove these kids from Camaraderie home .. but they live really far away by Niles. I thought I'd be smart and skip the traffic by going local when I was heading home but I get lost. I decide to get back on the highway but go north instead of south so I go all the way down to Whipple Rd, realize I took the wrong highway so I got off and saw the highway sign and rushed back in.. realizing that the sign said NORTH... so I had to get off again and get on 880 South and.. yea story of my life. i really miss my uncle's self heating toilet seat.. why is it so cold in fremont? orly

[12 January , 05:35PM] So I've been in Taiwan for almost 3 weeks and I did NO SHOPPING. It's just strange to go to Taiwan and not shop huh? So far, I've bought a pack of hair ties because I was out, and hair gel for Rebecca. I'm tired and ready to come home though. I haven't driven in 3 weeks it feels so strange! Well, I drove yesterday for like 3 seconds cause I had to park for my uncle. And I got to drive the motorcycle.. I mean moped with my cousin for a little bit. Okay maybe I'm not ready to come home cause I probably have a shitload of homework to make up. And I realized I start most of my entries with "so".... OKAY that's all 3 yarly orly

[07 January , 08:15AM] My uncles house has those self-warming toilet seats, it's pretty sweet. But it gets a little hot if you sit on it for a long period of time. Not that I have. My belly ring hole is now gone and it's strange to see nothing shiny on my stomach anymore but I guess it's pretty cool seeing my belly button again after 6 months. But it sucks ass that I went through all that pain and now I have nothing. Maybe next time I'll get a tattoo, at least that won't just one day decide to disappear. I really miss home and it's really strange thinking that I'm here in Taiwan while everyone is at school. Back to my QUEST paper, which I have to email to Mangiardi tomorrow. Oh and it was cute I asked my dad to tape the "Brain Fitness" extra credit stuff for Chan, and when I called him to ask if he taped it, and I asked him if he could put it on a dvd for me, he asked if he should take out the commercials. I don't know why I just thought that was cute. I miss sleeping in my warm cozy bed instead of sleeping on the floor. And I miss being able to drive and I miss my friends. Oh and I cut my hair. It looks the same to me but my mom says it looks different. What a random post. 3 yarly orly

For memory's sake... [30 December , 03:19PM] Taiwan so far..... -slept 8 hours on the plane and watched The Invasion and The Ultimate Gift -got to my aunt's house at midnight and slept 6 more hours -ate a freaking delicious breakfast <3 -got on the tour bus with Tammy and family friends!! -drove toooo... Tainan and ate a REALLY good lunch -a lot of bathroom breaks (I swear I peed like 10 times a day) -sang karaoke on the bus -went to Meinung.. this village haha. -ate a pretty good dinner -slept at a cool hotel with hot springs! -woke up early, ate a really good breakfast -went paintballing with grandmas and grandpas -went to some place with a loooot of stairs and an ocean :) -rode a ferry! (ITS ONLY 10 NT... thats like 35 cents!) -night market .. ate chou to fu <3 my favvovoooritee -went to the Loooove River.. and met up with an old family friend -stayed at the EverGreen hotel which smelled pretty bad -woke up at 630 :( ate another delicious breakfast -went to an oyster farm and rode a tiny boat into the ocean! -came back and grilled? oysters -went to.. this salt mountain place and ate a lot of good food and climbed a mountain made of salt! -went to an earthquake museum.. they basically built a museum over a school that collapsed because of an earthquake. it was really scary to see how intense it was :( -bus went to my grandmas house and we ate dinner, then the bus left and me, my mom and Tammy stayed at my grandmas! and now I am hereeee. That was a lot longer than I thought it would be. Taiwan is pretty fun but I got a fat mosquito bite on my ankle and it swelled up a little so now my left leg is very stiff when I walk! Okay.. today I'm celebrating New Years! I probably wont have my laptop with me for the next few days.. so in case I don't get a chance to say so later... Merry Christmas [24 December , 07:53PM] My winterbreak so far: -I am Legend -Jennifer/Emily/Alan's baptism -Macaroni Grill w/ KChou -Christmas in the Park w/ Grace, Susan, Chris, Andrew, Paul, Eric, and Alex -National Treasure -San Fran w/ family -Enchanted -Panera w/ Milan, Susan, Kris, and Kendrick -Baci Cafe w/ family A lot of eating and a lot of movie watching. This break has been good so far, but it sucks that I only had three days to hang out with people before I leave for Taiwan. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
